Hi,

I hope you’re having a good week.

Today, I’ll be sharing with you the story of this 35-year-old Dutch entrepreneur who makes over $2M/year while being a digital nomad with no employees.

Without wasting your time, let’s jump into it!

Pieter Levels was born on May 8, 1988, in the Netherlands.

He displayed an early fascination with technology and enrolled in computer science at Hogeschool van Amsterdam but dropped out, opting for a more hands-on education in the rapidly evolving digital landscape.

Embracing the Digital Nomad Lifestyle:

Nomad List Creation (2014): Pieter gained widespread recognition with the creation of Nomad List in 2014. This platform ranks cities around the world based on their suitability for digital nomads, considering factors like cost of living, internet speed, and quality of life.

Hacker Paradise (2014): Around the same time, he co-founded Hacker Paradise, a company that organizes retreats for remote workers and digital nomads. This venture aligned with his advocacy for the digital nomad lifestyle.

12 Startups in 12 Months Challenge (2014-2015):

In a bold experiment, Pieter set out to create and launch 12 startups in 12 months. This challenge, documented on his blog, showcased his coding skills, creativity, and willingness to take risks.

Some of the projects included Nomad List, Remote OK (a job board for remote positions), Hoodmaps (a crowdsourced map of city neighborhoods), and Go Fucking Do It (a goal-setting platform).
